St Anton has a legitimate claim to being the birthplace of alpine skiing. The Arlberg region has more than 305km of marked runs and an off-piste reputation that draws experts from around the world — particularly after a heavy dump on the legendary Valluga.
Hotel Arlberg sits at the base of the slopes in the heart of the village, and its après-ski credentials are as strong as its skiing. The hotel's own bar is one of the great St Anton institutions.
This is an ideal package for mixed-ability groups or families — St Anton has excellent beginner areas, a superb ski school, and enough challenging terrain to keep advanced skiers busy for a fortnight.
